De jury selecteerde zestig producten uit vierduizend inzendingen uit de designwereld. Naast de iF awards 2012 Gold Awards voor de BRAVIA NX720 Monolithic design TV, Sony Tablet S, Cyber-shot DSC-TX55, NEX-C3 en de NEX-7 en NXCAM NEX-FS100 professionele camera’s, kreeg Sony zestien prijzen voor de prestaties in ‘product’ en ‘communicatie’ design.
